In my career as an interpreter, I have found myself responsible for ensuring communication in court houses and board rooms, aboard Coast Guard vessels in Djibouti and trudging through the mud on more than a few farms, all of which has led me to develop an excellent command of English and French terminology and a knack for grace under pressure.
What began as an idea in high school (inspired by the film The Interpreter) was confirmed during a blissful year spent living in Lyon, France and honed during my graduate studies in Translation & Interpretation at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area but continue to take great pleasure in traveling the globe wherever my work takes me. When I'm not on the road, I enjoy cooking elaborate meals for loved ones, taking ballet classes, and caring for my small jungle of houseplants.
